Marmots Over Bend

It's not easy to draw
the oddly squished
face of a marmot.

After a day of trying
I gave up. Yet nature,
hating a vacuum, rewarded

me by showing me,
unasked, the hidden face
of Marmot in the Moon.

I also saw the Constellation
Marmot, Holy Marmot in the Bark,
and Marmot Rock WT— without a tail.
