Co-creating

crisscrossing glowing ripples
an otter plays with the light—
there is no loneliness in his river

hooves of mule deer kick up
fallen ponderosa needles—
the grove fills with the soft scent

in the forest of memories
I picture the world—
as the world imagines me in return

  1. Your poem sent me to a forest green with the moon shining brightly on a river as an otter played and a mule deer looked for food. This was so much fun to read. Be blessed!

  4. The river I spoke of today seems very lonely at times- no fish, let alone otters! LOL. Yours is peaceful in a good way.
