The old juniper is mobbed by frantic
birds, waxwings on the berries,
robins, nuthatches, juncos, chickadees
flickers on the suet cage, and below
doves and wild scratching quail
An occasional calculating
black and white, a magpie,
studies the scene.
birds, waxwings on the berries,

An occasional calculating

studies the scene.
Wonderful visual of the bird collective.
