Taps

Burying Jack in Virginia,
Dick's banjo sounded
across the hills

—music wrapping the world—

I wake up with my
rock and roll soul
still here.

  1. Poignant in the brevity and I love the fact that I can hear that banjo over the hills. Well done to separate that line out, too! Smiles!

  2. damn....this may be my favorite of the day. The opening line hooks you right in and no one can turn away form Banjo music. this hosts hard and fast, even with the subject mater, left me smiling. Great job.
