Vice-Versa

The jagged heights of Broken Top
smoothed under rolls of clouds.
Such an abundance of softness,
so lacking the rough stones of the trail to the summit.

  1. Hi Lorna,

I enjoyed this. Thank you so much for taking part in the revival of Vice/Versa at Poets United. It is a small prompt site, and I do hope that you will also find time to visit others who have shared links. I am hoping to 'grow' this site; and to so do I guess I need help from those who post....

It sounds to me like Broken Top is a mountain, and from the words you used I can picture it. I think I would like to climb it, especially since it lacks rough stones. I form a mental picture as I read your words. Thank you.

  5. Wow, beautiful description of clouds on mountain tops! Love the idea of clouds being something that softens.
