The Tree's Mystery

...sends an evergreen
perfume round itself.
never pausing to explain
the deeply felt halo,
not halting the flow
of veiled suggestions,
unseen ancestors
whispering and gone.
Lights of gold,
adventure, love,
terrible loss,
amazing holiness.
This for the poor,
this for the lonely,
something gentle
just for me.

 peace, barefoot walking slowly toward me floating grey and silver the Holy flashing through peace, a gathering of flickering angels he then...
