Winter Path

the way is icy
slipping  down this cold canyon

by the crusted bank

even the urgent river
hushes under night's stark freeze

  3. With respect for each word, you take us to the river and make us feel the winter's cold. This is magical, Lorna.

  5. A dangerous winter path luring us onward by its beauty. I hope the ice on the river is strong enough to support us if we slip and fall off the path
