Windstream

bar-headed geese fly
over Mount Malika

Aeolian prayers

wind carried longing for home
lush valleys, dancing cranes

my prayer flags whisper
please, please remember me

don't leave me in this cold

above Shiva's mountain
vast winds lift those holy geese

it is no small thing to reach
the peak of the earth

on a dream I might ride

the earth circling river
and remember my ancient wings

  2. Absolutely gorgeous - the prayer flags, the peaks and, especially, "remember my ancient wings". Wow!

  4. Lorna, from the geese to your own dream wings, this is glorious. I fly a lot in my dreams, so I could see in my mind your voyage, and I hope your "ancient wings" (I'm thinking ancestral, not that you are old!) take you there. Peace, Amy
