Lock It Behind You

lock it behind you,
save the explanations for later —
trust this misty morning
overhead, low flying geese
calling each other to an open field

  3. Ah, geese. I love to watch them fly, especially in groups. Such grace. (But on the ground they can be a force to contend with..not fun being chased by them. Ha.)

  8. You painted such a clear scene in a few lines here. We have geese mainly in winter here as this is one of the places they are heading when they fly south. Love seeing them in their big Vs.
